UHMWPE(초고분자량 폴리에틸렌) 원사는 또한 15대 하이테크 섬유(특히 탄소 섬유, 아라미드 및 UHMWPE 섬유) 중 하나이며, 또한 최소 중량으로 최대 강도를 제공하는 초강력 폴리에틸렌 섬유입니다.
UHMWPE원사로 만들어진UHMWPE 섬유는 높은 인장 강도, 큰 모듈러스, 부드러운 질감, 내충격성, 절단 저항성, 높은 유연성, 내산 및 내알칼리성, 햇빛 방지, 흡수 방지 및 습기 방지와 같은 특성과 우수한 성능을 가지고 있습니다. 이는 중량 기준으로 강철보다 15배, 아라미드보다 40% 더 강합니다.
오늘날의 방검 장갑, 고강도 로프, 방탄복 등을 만드는 데 사용되는 최강의 섬유입니다. 최대 45cN/dtex까지의 인장강도를 가지며 뿐만 아니라 자외선 방지, 화학물질 방지, 절단 방지 성능이 우수합니다.
이러한 장점으로 인해 방탄조끼, 방탄헬멧, 방탄갑판, 방검복, 방폭복 등 공공특수방폭시설, 안전보호시설 등의 용도로 널리 사용되고 있습니다.
면적 밀도는 방탄직물의 핵심 성능 값입니다. 이는 경량 방탄복을 만드는 데 매우 중요합니다.
CDR이 제조하는 UHMWPE 섬유의 면적 밀도는 NIJ 0101.06 레벨 IIIA 대비 3.84kg/m2에 불과합니다.
• 탄도 저항: UHMWPE 섬유는 방탄복, 헬멧 등 탄도 저항 소재 생산에 흔히 사용됩니다. 무게 대비 강도가 높아 총알이나 기타 발사체로부터 보호하는 데 이상적입니다.
• 절단 저항: UHMWPE 섬유는 높은 강도와 인성으로 인해 산업 및 군사용 절단 방지 장갑 및 보호복에 사용됩니다.
• 가벼움: UHMWPE 섬유는 강도에도 불구하고 매우 가볍습니다. 따라서 경량 및 고성능 제품에 사용하기에 적합합니다
UHMWPE yarn is also one of three major hi-tech fibers ( specifically the carbon fiber, aramid, and UHMWPE fiber), in addition, it is a super-strong polyethylene fiber that offers maximum strength combined with minimum weight.
The UHMWPE fiber has the characters and superior performances such as high tensile strength, large modulus, soft texture, impact resistance, cutting resistance, high flexibility, acid & alkaline resistance, sunshine proof, soaking proof and moisture proof. It is up to 15 times stronger than quality steel and up to 40% stronger than aramid fibers, both on weight for weight basis.
It is the strongest fiber today for making cut-resistance gloves, high-strength ropes, and bulletproof fabrics. Its tenacity at breaking up to 45cN/dtex and has good performance on anti-UV, anti-chemicals, and anti-cut. The applications are therefore more or less unlimited.
Because of the advantages, it is widely used in the applications like bullet proof vests, bullet proof helmets, bullet proof armor plates, stab proof and cutting proof clothes as well as special public anti-explosion facilities and safety protection facilities.
The area density per square meter is key performance value of ballistic fabric. It is very important for making lightweight body armor. The area density of our UHMWPE fabric has only 3.84kg/m2 for NIJ 0101.06 level IIIA protection.
• Ballistic Protection: UHMWPE fibers are commonly used in the production of ballistic-resistant materials such as body armor and helmets. Their high strength-to-weight ratio makes them ideal for protecting against bullets and other projectiles.
• Cut Resistance: Due to their high strength and toughness, UHMWPE fibers are often used in cut-resistant gloves and protective clothing for industrial and military applications.
• Lightweight: Despite their strength, UHMWPE fibers are very lightweight. This makes them suitable for use in lightweight and high-performance products.
